Services Grant Funding Research We research foundation and corporate donors from various databases, libraries, and request for proposal (RFP) sources based on the specific funding objectives of each client. A detailed packet of material inclusive of recommended next steps is provided for each potential foundation donor. Grant Proposal Writing Narrative content is developed in consultation with the client. The project need statement, goal, outcomes, activity timeline, assessment plan, organizational expertise, and budget are all part of the narrative development process. Proposals are written based on a standard outline provided by the Foundation Center or as articulated by the targeted funding source. Grant Proposal Review We review grant proposal drafts providing clients with feedback on the narrative content, its adherence to the funding guidelines, and overall content accuracy and presentation. Project Reporting and Stewardship Most foundation funded projects require a progress and/or final report. Optimum Writing Consulting, LLC can assist in the development of foundation reports, project PowerPoint presentations for foundation visits, and general support in the donor stewardship process. Foundation Fundraising Organizational Development Optimum Writing Consulting, LLC works with the development team and other staff within the organization to structure the foundation and corporate fundraising function. A comprehensive fundraising infrastructure can be developed that includes the preparation of long-range plans, staff training, foundation prospect identification, grant submission tracking systems, and reporting/stewardship.
